Menkyo Shihan and Menkyo Kaiden Shihan

Awarded the Menkyo Shihan (license of master instructor) and later, Menkyo Kaiden Shihan (license of master instructor of the deepest mysteries). Only the second foreigner (after James A. Benko) to receive the title Kaiden Shihan. Given a seat on the Council of Shingi-in (life long judges), a position he held until his passing.

Menkyo Kaiden Shihan Sandaikichu

Received the Sandaikichu (three great foundation pillars) title, the most advanced training available in Hakkoryu and awarded the Sandaikichu Makimono (scroll).

Koho Shiatsu Igaku

Given the practitioner’s certificate in Koho Shiatsu Igaku (Imperial method of finger pressure therapy).
